Don't Waste Your Coronavirus, Part 6: What Permanent Changes Have You Made?
On March 15th, 2020, I wrote the article Don't Waste Your Coronavirus. The pandemic was fresh. At the time I imagined a pandemic measured in months, not weeks, but had zero sense that nearly a year later we'd still live under the cloud of Covid-19.It's been a long 11 months. Hopefully this has also been an un-wasted 11 months, an intentionally formative 11 months. Now is a good time to reflect on how you, your life, your goals, your family, your friendships, your community, etc. will be permanently and positively changed on the other side of this pandemic. To guide your reflection, here are 3 questions worth thinking through and discussing with friends:
- What have you/will you permanently STOP doing after navigating the chaos and opportunity of this once-in-a-century pandemic?
- What were you doing before the virus that you will KEEP doing, recognizing its deep and lasting value during this disruptive pandemic?
- What new things did you START doing during this pandemic that will remain a permanent part of your life?
