Don't Waste Your Coronavirus, Part 2: 15 Minutes Early

So, we've determined together to not waste this coronavirus moment. We will steward this time well, redeem this time, and be creative. Where do we start?I'm going to start by waking up 15 minutes earlier each day. If we don't want to waste this time, this is not a time to sleep in, be lazy, or just get through it. This is a time to to double down on intentionality, discipline, and creativity. Things just got crazy here in the Bay Area, starting at midnight we are under a very strict "Shelter in Place" order (read the whole thing, wow...). It's a lockdown. I'm re-creating this whole next month of my life, my family's life, my friendships, my church's life, my work, my rhythms, everything.I'm okay with it. This is an opportunity. And I'm coming at it by waking up 15 minutes earlier to enjoy being still in the presence of God and to ask him to do deep, new things in my heart and through my heart as I navigate this new terrain. This starts tomorrow. My new alarm is set. Let me know if you're down to join me in attacking your day 15 minutes early.[mc4wp_form id="9268”]
