The Book I Never Stop Reading

41MUtVuULbL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_Jack Miller died in 1996. I never knew him, but I feel like I know him largely because of his book, The Heart of a Servant Leader. I first read this collection of letters eight or so years ago, each letter hitting my heart as though Jack Miller were sitting across the table from me, mentoring me.I've never stopped reading this book. Every year or two I pick it up again and slowly read a letter at a time. For the past three months I've read one letter/chapter per day, each one helping me as a man and leader. This is one of the books we have all of our elders read at Garden City Church, desiring that the gospel, humility, wisdom, relational warmth, joy, and brave big dreams/prayers of this book would work its way deeper in the culture of our leaders.Get this book!
